So over the winter months, I like to take the boat out of storage once a month and throw it in the water on a relatively warm day to keep things lubricated and find problems early rather than later. Well today, the latter happened.
When I started up the port engine, I got a chime and check engine light. In the water, it would not go above 2000 RPM, but my starboard side had the full limit. At idle it sounded slightly rough as well.
Also, I think the bilge pump might be clogged, but that's less of a worry to me.
Attached are some pics that might help. I plan on taking it to the dealer next weekend, but I was just wondering if anyone here had any thoughts. Thanks!
