2017 vs 2020 Yamaha 212X

I am looking for any significant differences between the 2017 and the 2020 Yamaha 212X.

I don't think the hull or design changed at all, just a few stereo features maybe? Same length, width, weight. The Connext was updated and removed the buttons, colours changed each year or so. That's about it I think,

Yup, no promises, but I think other than colours and maybe a different headunit (2017 was Polk). 2017 also had a soundbar instead of cans.... I think 2020 may have had cans....?

above poster may be right about a different connex with phone mount instead of connex and gauges also.... but I think features wise they are similar.... maybe 2020 might have maps?

Truthfully though, I’m pretty sure all the major things, hull, engines, ballast etc are the same.

Yup the 2020 will have Maps, Fusion head unit at the stern controlled by the Connext and joystick, and soundbar up top. The joystick is one of my favourite features...all boats should have one like that. I never have to touch the Connext screen.

Heck yeah, the joystick is genius, I love it! The 17’s have a different connex, but they do still have the awesome joystick!
