Was the boat taking on water?
All i know is thats the bilge pump symbol.

Did you have your right turn signal on? Only kidding I have a 2018 242 E series and have never seen that one either.

Haven't seen it, but here is my guess. Did it come on intermittently, or stay on?

I wonder if it is displayed when the bilge runs but keys are off? Have never been in a situation to see that, but it's a guess maybe?

Why was your boat being towed?

That pops up when the keys are off and the bilge cycles.

Thank you all. Well my wife took it out with friends and sucked up a ski rope ??. They were able to get the clean out ports off but not back on. Also the ports didn’t help of course. So they had to be towed. Made sure to tell them to tow slow so the engines won’t take on water. Now my next day off I will take the jets apart... again.

This makes some sense now the water was probably backing up through the clean out ports. When water comes into this tray it has a drain but the ports are 200 x the size of the drain the seals do nothing any excess will dump into the engine compartment. If you pull the plugs and just bounce the back of the boat you will see the water rise up and with towing even more probably comes up.

this is the water flowing out with a cork in the drain even after extra screws and gasket were installed on the large hatch

Your hull was taking on water as it was being towed and the bilge came on . There is a possibility the rope could have damaged the seal where the impeller shaft goes through the hull hopefully this is nit the case
