We relocated from the Lake Travis area (15mins from the lake) to the Cypress/Houston last year to be closer to family amid all the covid stuff. The closest lake is now 1.5hrs away and we simply don't use the boat enough to justify ownership. It's been a great boat to our family (our first) and we've created a lot of great memories on it. Despite what people say about boat ownership, it has been nothing but incredible times and I will be sad to see it go. It runs like a dream and has never left us stranded or presented a single issue. It's been well maintained inside and out. With this being our first boat, there are some minor scratches from the learning curve and some from normal use. Overall the hull is in excellent shape and these cosmetic things can be buffed out. We are the original owners, purchased at the end of the 2019 season (September) from Gulf Shores Power Sports & Marine in Gulf Shores, AL. Here is some additional info on the boat:
  • 2019 Yamaha AR240
  • Twin 1.8L High Output Engines (180HP each motor)
  • 3 year warranty (valid through 9/2022)
  • Galvanized Shorelander Trailer Included
  • 23.7 hours (8/30/21)
  • Fresh water use only - never been in salt water
  • Washed, flushed, and stored in enclosed storage unit after each use
  • Serviced by Yamaha dealership each (2) season - receipts to be provided
  • Only 93 Octane fuel
Upgrades include:
  • JetBoatPilot Thrust Vector X (low speed steering enhancement)
  • JL Audio Stereo (M3 6.5" speakers (x6), M3 10" subwoofer, MV800/8i amplifier)
  • Noco Genius 2-Bank Battery Charger
  • Miscellaneous Seadek pieces throughout
  • Miscellaneous improvements (billet pissers, upgraded roller, etc.)
Willing to throw in anchor(s), life jackets, floats, etc. if need be - everything you need to hit the water day 1!
  • I'm located in Cypress/Houston, TX. Boat is stored near Lake Somerville, but can arrange meetup/delivery in the greater central Texas area.
  • Asking price - No longer for sale
Additional (better) pictures coming next week, after fetching the boat.

DM me if interested.

Thanks for looking!

In an interesting turn of events, my wife wants to keep the boat. She gave me a REALLY hard time about selling it, and is committing to using it more. So long as the family enjoys using it and making memories, we'll be boat owners. Thanks to those who expressed interest, and thank you again for understanding.

Sometime the best decision is not making any decision ...

Our closest wake lake is 1.25 hours, and better lakes are 2.5-3 hours. It actually makes it seem like more of a special event, although of course it limits the amount we go.

We're similar. Easy 45min drive plus 30min on each end for getting it out and putting it away (have to drop the tower and move a bunch of crap in the garage). Makes a weeknight trip out of the question, and we have to plan ahead to do a weekend trip. We can do a "spur of the moment" date night on the Ohio (just a few miles away), but we don't swim/watersports in that water if we can help it.
