So I purchased two different grease guns and cannot get either of them to work. What am I doing wrong or is there a specific attachment or adapter that I need to use?

I purchased this grease gun and could not get the hose to click onto the bearing:

So then I went back and switched to this more heavy duty version and the same:

Attached are some photos of the bearing buddies that came on my 2020 Shoreland'r for a 2020 210 FSH. (Red is the original grease and blue is what I tried to add, but it just pooled since the hose would not click in???

Thanks in advance for helping with the most basic question!

Yes! I Unscrewed it so that I could put the grease gun nozzle part on and then tightened it but then it would slip off. The guy who worked in the area also thought it was a standard fitting so he came out and tried the second grease gun, but could not get it to fit either. So strange.

I think I’ll try a different brand grease gun and see.

If unscrewing the grease gun tip inserting it over the zerk then tightening it once on isnt working i'd consider removing the zerk fitting and taking them over to a Napa store and match the threads on a couple new zerks. Did that trailer come from salt water? Do the little ball on the zerks push in? They may be frozen and bad fittings Screenshot_20201019-000529_Chrome.jpg

If that doesn't work id consider replacing those bearing buddy's. I know That trailer is not old but it shouldnt be an issue for years.

took the trailer over to auto zone and it was a bad fitting! of course this would happen to me on a brand new 2020 trailer that has only been used a few times in fresh water haha.

anyway thanks for feedback and help!

Just push the gun on the fitting, you should not have to unscrew it.
