So I replaced my impeller. So now that I am reinstalling the shaft and the pump I'm having a problem with it seating correctly. When I slide the shaft in and position bolt holes in the correct place I am about an 1/8" or maybe a little bit more from fitting flush to the flange on the transom. I tapped on it with a rubber mall, I've reached in the clean out hole and wiggled and pushed and did everything I can do to get that shaft to go in a little bit further and it just will not. Has anybody else ran into this problem?
