Will the FSH190 pull tubes and ski/wakeboard the same as the AR190? I know the AR has the wake bar, but I like the console plus the live well would be nice..

They both show as the same engine and about the same weight, but I know thats not all that goes into some things.

Also they claim both can seat 8, with people on here saying the AR190 really seats 5 comfortably, does the FSH really seat that many? the center console looks like it takes a bit more room.

It is my understanding that it is the same hull and engine, and therefore, performance will be approximately the same (variables like small differences in weight and wind drag will play a factor).

The FSH 190 seats 5+ comfortably (depending on your definition of seating and comfort). In the FSH 190, you have: up to two at the helm (seat / leaning post), two jumps seats - one on each side of the helm, one seat on the console door forward and there is a cushion that snaps down on the fish locker - so you are facing the console door seat. I would think that most people would say it seats 5-6 and 4-5 comfortably.

I wasnt sure, I know weight distribution causes issues on some boats capabilities etc. Thx for the confirmation on size, i will have to think hard about it. they are about the same price.

Anyone know if the console or bowrider has better trade in/resale value than the other normally? At some point I probably will be looking to upgrade, this is my starter boat. I have rented but never owned.

My assumption is if you live south the Fish might be more desirable. I don’t see many up here in WI.

My guess is resale is about the same - presuming you purchase what is popular in your area.

I would choose, and we did choose, based on use. We fish a fair amount (although we do tow tubes, just cruise around and anchor off beaches), and a center console with a self draining deck is better suited to bigger water. Also, I think that a center console is easier to maintain / keep clean. Periodically, people post to ask about rules on boats (no shoes, no this, no that), and I often post that we have no rules - it is a center console, a little fish blood or bottom mud is not going to hurt anything. FWIW, I keep my boat spotless by waxing everything inside and out - including the non-skid with non-skid wax.

I sold my 2016 190fsh last year and it took 48hrs to sell and I had 4 back up buyers. Actually sold it this year. Let's face it this year feels like two years:)

You ask a good question here on second paragraph. You have rented now want a starter boat before you upgrade. My advice is dot dot dot forget the starter and go for the upgrade. 210 FSH CC Sport or a 210 boat. Save your money and get the financing thru dealer. If you are younger than 40 years old you have a lifetime to pay it out and enjoy. The FSH will give you the best of three worlds, family, fishing, and sandbar partying.

thanks everyone.

ya i figure it would be better. But though i love boating when I am renting, I need to see if I will enjoy it as much when i own as i think I will. So i am going with the lower cost option until I am sure. If after a couple seasons i am still spending most weekends on the water, I will upgrade. Also the 19 foot boats are the most popular for resale, so that was a factor since I potentially will upgrade in the future.

Don't over look the 195FSH CC Sport . 19' 6'' single supercharge engine same rear deck platform as all Yamahas,
Do your home work and study it good
nothing wrong with renting. You buy, take pride in your boat its noticeable and people plus dealers will find you a buyer.
It's good you ask this question.
