I posted in a different section but received no traction, so I thought that I would post here as well.

I apologize if this has been asked/answered before, but after a long search (not my strong suit) I couldn’t find an answer.

I’m wanting to secure items and plastic storage containers in the helm locker and port storage locker as well as the aft port/starboard under-seating storage areas. My idea was to use those bungee cargo nets (typically used in vehicle trunks) secured to hooks in the floor. This would allow for stacking and holding secure from bouncing etc.

My concern is that I don’t know how thick the flooring is in all of those areas as I want to screw down the hooks.
Does any one know the thickness and/or if there is anything below the floor (i.e. hull, tanks, empty space)?

this is what I’m considering using:

I have screwed several things down to the floor of my sx195. With the 19' boats, you need to be very cautious where you screw! Under the helm and port storage locker, the hull is very close on the outer edges. At the very outer edges the hull and floor meet and it is very thin. I stay away from that area. The closer to the doors the safer you are. As for under the seats, you are safe. I've mounted amps, batteries etc under there with no issues.

Awesome info! Thank you so much. I was so nervous that I haven't done anything yet. Now I feel more confident. And thanks for the pics as well!
