I popped the cover off the rear deck and found that the hoses are connected back here instead of the engine compartment. Does anyone else have this same setup? I could have sworn other '22 owners showed pics of it in the engine compartment.

Still trying to decide whether or not I'm going to winterize my boat or let the dealer do it while they're handling a couple small warranty issues. I couldn't see the water line that needs to be blocked of for pumping antifreeze through the engine (or to clamp off if being towed) so I popped the cover off the rear deck and found that the hoses are connected back here instead of the engine compartment. Why are you putting antifreeze in the engine? Are you in the great white north?

Minnesotan here, no antifreeze. I just run it for a minute before I put it away for the winter.

I have never winterized my boat in Virginia. Neither has my buddy in Northern Indiana. Just rev the engines before putting the cover on for the winter. I did forget to pull the clean out plugs my first winter and what little water in there froze. Caught it before there was any damage.

Exactly. and BTW, folks used to get banned for bringing up Winterization posts in August. Just saying...

Ok so let's forget about the antifreeze question for now. What about the location of the hose splitter?

You probably already know this but fill the tank and add stabilizer when you winterize.

What do you want to do with the splitter? or what is the purpose of finding it?

Even being on fresh water, I'd like to be able to flush it and be able to clamp of the one side so most of the water goes through the cooling system instead of just dumping out the bottom.
