The Yamaha Square Fenders are way too small to protect this size boat. Plus the strap is weak and will break with any seas while docked. you know the old saying "Penny Wise and Dollar Foolish", well it definitely applies here. We all spend plenty of $$ on Stereos and Gadgets, spend $120- on a couple of bumpers and you'll feel alot better with your 30,000 - 70,000 boat at the dock.

They even have a nice fleece cover for them which I may get for the new boat.

Thank you. I searched the threads too. Looks like I'm going to return the huggers and change. I really don't want to risk it.

Yea the thin square hugger sucks.. get plain old round large ones.. or deal with this.

Those hugger fenders are horrible... I used to use those on my jet ski and they sucked trying to protect it. When I bought my boat they came with the boat and the boat also came w a scratch that looked EXACTLY like the scratches on your hull. I will use the big ole old school fenders and be happy, especially since I just waited 2 weeks and spent a bunch of cash to get the scratches fixed.
