242 - trolling motor?

Anyone out there successfully mount a trolling motor on a 242? I think I saw that @Evil Sports mounted one on a 21', but I'm not sure if the same shaft would work on a 242.

My boat is a SX190, but my solution would work for you too. This way nothing is permanent except the wiring for the battery.
