I recently sold 2 sets of JL Mx650s and have 1 set left. Instead of selling them I think I'm going to install them as mid cabin speakers. What's the best way of adding them?

I currently have 4 Mx650s being powered by a Clarion Xc1410 and another 2 for the swim platform powered by another Clarion amp. I want to add them with the other cabin speakers so they can be controlled by the same zone. The amp is only a 4 channel amp so I am unsure how to add 2 more speakers to the amp. I do understand that a JL 6 channel amp would be the best choice but I am trying to keep cost down. I am well over budget of upgrades for the summer. I have a Fusion HU if that matters at all. I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.

Similar situation for me. I hooked the bow speakers up to the head unit and the main cabins to the amp. Added a simple RCA amp volume knob so I can still adjust the main cabin separate from bow. End result is that the bow is slightly quieter than the amp at full volume which is perfect for me. Kids ride in bow and don't love music real loud. Mid cabins make a huge difference for the driver, especially at speed with wind noise.

@jawsf16 I am not sure that will work for me. My amp is already using all 4 channels of my radio. The 2nd amp is hooked up the the RCA outs on the radio. Is there a way for me to tie the mid cabin speakers to the rear speakers? I like having 3 zones. I think that having those 4 on the same zone would work best for me.

Oh I have RCAs going to each amp from the head unit. You could simply run four of the speakers in series wiring but it cuts the output of the speakers. Does your amp using the RCAs have a through signal, an RCA out? If it does you could pass through one amp to the other and free up head unit speaker lines.
