After-market air filter suggestion for 1.8L HO engines?

I am not sure I would be comfortable with this item. Only 4 reviews and has lots of warnings/notices of fitment clarification.

Ah, awesome! I saw that one but scrolled past it as I didn’t realized it’s washable. This seems like a very good option.

How did you damage your other two? Better yet, how did they get dirty? Running cat tails?
Well they have several years and 166 hours on them. How long do people usually run them?

They rarely get dirty, some get oil stains from over filling engine oil. But its such a dirt free environment they hardly get dirty. Seen some with 300 hours and still clean

It went against every grain in my body to not replace mine as well. But I open them up, inspect and put them back on a regular basis. But as stated, it's a very clean environment, unless one overfills oil.

Blow them out and call it a day. Be happy you didn't have to buy those over priced filters. I think that is why they are so expensive, they just don't sell that many.
