My wife and I are looking at a place on the water that would include a slip. It's salt water and I'll need to find a lift solution that works to get the boat high and dry in our application while remaining within the condo association rules. There is a 27' baja a few slips down that sits on Air Dock and I was able to chat with the owner who had very good things to say and he confirmed the association is fine with this setup. Also noted that he did not need any in-water frame, as all four corners can be secured.

My questions for any members here who use Air Dock -

What has your experience been with the intakes ending up sitting on the Air Dock? I know their website mentions using a small weight to pull down the back end of the airbags to allow for some flexibility here as you pull in and depart. Just not sure how well that works.

Can I get a solid engine flush when the intakes are sitting on the full air bags? Would it be important to install shut off valves to ensure the flush works well?

If you installed yourself- how difficult was it?

Thanks in advance for all your help!
