Hey guys looking at replacing my air filters anybody got ideas on what's best for direct replacement does kn make one thanks

@Scott griffith, do you have rectangular air filters under a cover on top of the engines or round canisters?

The rectangle on the top

Do you have HO engines? I am not sure if they were available in 2003.

R&D and RIVA both make velocity stacks and air filters that are known to increase horsepower a little on the HO engines.

I found the best prices for the the R&D parts for the Yamaha FX140 engine on EBay. The velocity stack is 206-00140 and the air filter is 200-00143.

What sort of hp increase can the velocity stacks/filter combo achieve?

Island Racing (http://islandracing.net/212230232.html) says "The R&D high flow breather is a direct replacement for the stock breather in the OEM air box. Water tested to deliver improved throttle response, acceleration and top speed with 50-100 RPM increase. Units with 15-20+ operational hours may see greater performance increases.".

I have velocity stacks and the filters removed (most of the time) and they made a very slight difference. Noticeable, but slight.
