I am finally getting ready to put my 2019 AR240 in the water for the first time and when I went to put my anchor in the box the door goes all the way back and rubs against the gel coat of the rest of the hull. Can anyone tell me if this is normal or if it is suppose to stop before they touch. It was the model at the boat show so I wonder if someone forced it too far opening it, Sorry I don't have a pic right now.

Mine is held open (and stopped from opening too far) by a spring. Someday I will replace it with a gas shock. So I know you have a different year, but I can't imagine they just did away with the part...
