I have a 2025 Yamaha 222S. I bought the OEM Yamaha Anchor SBT-YS600-00-14 (Amazon.com) which I am told is the correct one. Unfortunately it is not. It fits width wise but the top is too high and it hits the anchor locker/ladder latch, not allowing to close properly. Which is the correct anchor I should be getting. Thanks!

I do not know.

However, I would recommend a search here for anchor discussions. You will find many with many different opinions. I think about the only consensus you will find is that there are at least 3 anchors clearly better than the Yamaha stock Danforth. I have a box anchor; Mantus anchors are popular, too. I get wanting to have the stock one (I have mine on the boat as a backup). But upgrading it is a wonderful thing...

I have a small box anchor that I believe weighs 13 lbs. it works very well but 13lbs plus the mud it comes up with is awkward to deal with. It does fold up and fit in the locker. However a couple seasons ago I got the fortress fx7 based on commentary here. I cut off about 1/4 inch of the crossbar to make it fit and I have six feet of chain. It is far easier to work with and lives up to the hype.

This is in an AR210, for reference
