Anchor pins?

I know this has been addressed some time in the past but who has experience with poles or pins? We boat in skinny water frequently < 6ft and wondering about a short term solution to anchoring on seagrass, mud, when we haul kayaks, etc. Thanks for any suggestions.

not sure about mud, but I use "land anchors" (similar to this: Steel 48 Inch Earth Screw Anchor) when at the sandbar and a couple of springy dock lines.
