Was planning to hit it up mid week when I figured it wouldn't be too busy. Dog poop is no bueno though! Any additional options you know of that would be a good sandy spot for kids? We'll have time to check out multiple spots.

On that map provided there is a great large island with shore to beach the boat if you like. I outlined in a pink square.

When I drop in at Ebenezer Park across from Goat Island, I always shoot all the way up to the dam at Mount Holly, I turn around head back, and find an island, sand bar, or usually a quiet cove and hang out till I'm ready to leave.

Mid Week Goat island should be cool to visit, i can see it from my porch, also by Windjammer park you can beach at Sunset Island. Papa Docs is always fun to pull into for food. We usually hit the South Sandbar in Little Allison, mid week shouldn't be busy and there is a volleyball net set up in 3ft of water. Kids may like that. Enjoy!
