Hi All,

This is my first post here. This week our 2020 AR240 finally arrived (first boat) and we couldn't be happier. We found a plug looking thing in the glove box. Does anyone know where it goes? The hull drain plug is in so it shouldn't be that. Any help would be much appreciated.

There are more drains than the rear. Check both ends ski locker , fuel locker too. It could be a spare

there should be some in the engines bay. If all there, then this would be spare. My 2019 didn’t come with a spare, it’s nice Yamaha is including them now on the 2020 models (if that is the case).

Thanks guys, I'll check the other drains next time I'm with the boat.
I have one more question. How are you supposed to latch the window in the open position. I see a strap but it won't reach far enough to clip in.IMG_5252.jpg

You can take a screw driver and adjust the male snap. It will slide in the window channel.

Congrats on the new 1st boat!

You could make a new longer strap if you have one of those covers.

Wouldn't this mess up the alignment for the bow/cockpit cover snaps?

It shouldn't. That snap should not be used for that. It should be on the inside when you close the window.

I believe the bow cover wraps under the window and snaps into those. I think missing one buckle won't be too bad so I'll likely go with Pro Build's idea of moving the snap a little.

It does snap into the window--you can see those in the background of your photo behind the window you are adjusting the snap on. Just move that to the right a little. It won't affect the cover at all because the cover snaps behind all this (usually with the window closed).

You can also adjust/slide the rubber bumpers on the windshield too so that the glass opens a little further.
