Anyone know what size screw this is?

Pulled boat out of lake after 2 days in slip and saw this. Don't want to talk it to dealer and leave it for 3 weeks. Only 8 hours on boat. It's the bar the supports the reverse buckets. One on left is just flipping around.

Take a pic of the other side. May be able to Home Depot fix it.

Take the bolt with you to the hardware store. Get stainless.

Now I see the empty threads. Maybe that other bolt is the same size? Take it out and try it..... Take that with you to hardware store if it worked.

It has a sleeve over the bolt. Not sure if I can find that. I will probably just find a bolt at hardware store and secure it loosely. I'll let the dealer do it properly with the sleeve when I return it for the 10 hr check.

Both H.D. and Lowe's have a board that you can screw a bolt into, or a bolt you can thread a nut onto to find out its guage and pitch.

make sure the new proper one gets medium loctite

I lost the same bolt around 8 hrs. I got one from the dealer. I put in in with blue locktite. I checked it yesterday at 12 hours and it was loose again, red locktite this time.

Send that pic to the dealer. Just in case they don't have the part they can order it now. I hear parts are hard to come by.

All of the jet pump and Rotax parts are easily obtained through a BRP dealer. Just have them look up a 2012 and up Challenger boat. 180 for a single engine, and a 230 for a dual engine setup.
