Update: found the rubber hose going to the exhaust had a pinhole in it and was gushing water. Fixed it and will see whats next.

Metal shavings are most likely debris left over from the build. Just pulled a handful of junk from my bilge last Friday. Yamaha builders don't clean up themselves very well.

I'm curious about which hose had a pinhole as well.

White hose was rubbing against black hose since new and caused a hole. Pic attached.20200523_105225.jpg

I had to cut the damaged hose off and reinstall with zip ties. I also zip tied the white hose higher up so it wouldnt touch.

This almost ruined my weekend. The bilge was always collecting water and this was the culprit.

The metal shavings and white milky water was just reminents of what was left after the boat was built.

Ran the boat for about 5 hours after this and so far so good.

@Chris Kasz Thanks for the picture.

I've been chasing a warm water in the bilge issue for awhile as well. Appeared mine was an exhaust hose issue and was curious if yours was the same hose. Appears to be different, but adds to the groups knowledge base anyway!

Thanks for sharing!
