I tried to search but didn't find anything. How all did you guys attach your porta pottys to the compartment floor? I was thinking about double lock (velcro) but wanted to see what other folks had done.

I used 2" Velcro from Home Depot. The heavy duty stuff. Place both strips on the toilet bottom and then pressed the toilet in place.

When the reservoir is filled mine is sufficiently heavy that it stays in place. I have never felt any need to attach it.

2 inch wide velcro for me.

To add to this, I learned a long time ago to add a good amount of water to the bottom of our porta potty tank before it even gets used. That way whatever ends up in there is automatically diluted. If our kids end up using the potty I just take the bottom portion home to clean out and only fill up the top once or twice per year.

Also, I learned when the 3 yr old says "I think I need to poop" and has a concerned look on his face, that means stop everything right then and there and get that kid on the toilet. I won't go into details on how I learned that the hard way.

I used the provided screws and clips, if it ever gets used, that is one thing I do not want to have to clean up if I hit a rouge wave!

I wish they would offer a built in head on these boats, with a pump out connection. Is it difficult carrying a full porta potty out of the cramped head area? And what do you guys do with the waste? Dump it into a toilet I am assuming?

2 inch heavy duty Velcro as well. Easy enough to dump into the toilet as needed! I've had built in heads, and had to buy a Todd Waste Caddy to pump when I wasn't able to bring the boat to a pump out station. That is a pain!

Dump it in the toilet. Ours gets very little use. Mostly kids. Rule is pee is not a concern in who empties it, however whom ever adds brown has to dump it. I always add the blue deodorizer with a bit of water to cut down the aroma.

The dometic model I bought from west marine for $100 had mounting points built into it. The mounts/clips were another $30. Well worth it imho.

There is a dealer in Florida put in porcelain potties with a hold tank.

I have a piece of Sea Dek in there from @JetBoatPilot which seems to do the trick..... as @Bruce mentioned, with the clean water tank filled, it's heavy enough not to move. I also have a few pieces of noodle on the back and sides primarily to keep the head away from the back and sides enough when being used.
