Big night last night.

Finally got my pump and switch installed last night. Connected to the plumbing that was already in place from previous owner (@RampRage )

Also, got my WakeWedge installed. @jcyamaharider

Got on the water this afternoon. Pump filled the 2 400lb bags just like magic! Didn’t actually test the wave. Just tested to see if it would fill/drain.

Question though, when they drain, I’m not getting all the water out. Should they really drain dry, or is it normal to leave an inch or two of water in each bag?

Other than that, only problem I had was I put the switch in upside down. So need to rotate that, then flip the switch so that fill and empty are correct. Easy fix.

Also, I’ve seen @swatski rave about the wakemakers wiring harnesses. Man, that was too easy!! So what if I’ve got a few extra feet of cable coiled up and tucked away. Complete kit is definitely the way to go in my mind.

I didn’t do very good with my in progress pics. I’ll try to remedy that later this week.

Are the bags vented? If they are it may leave some water because the check valve will let a little air by. If the system is closed then it should suck the bags tight.

Yes, they are vented. Overflow out the back to the swim platform. Ok, then I won’t worry about it then. Should I put a little bleach in the bags once in awhile, or just wait till the end of the season to slosh some bleach then drain fully?

End of season

My side bags will drain completely....but the center one just doesn't drain completely. I had it in for warranty work at the end of the season for that bag leaking and I see it's still leaking a bit. Looks like I'll need to give that one a closer look...
