Battery drain up after winter time

Hi

I don’t know why but my scarab battery drain up during winter sezon.
Boat was park in warm garage and the main switch was if for all sezon!
Can somebody can tell me what’s draining the battery.
Anybody have same problem?

Always use a battery maintainer.

I keep it inside in warm garage.

Always use a battery tender regardless of temperature. Lookup lead acid battery and electrons and you should find literature that explains it.

2016 Scarab 195 HO impuls

I have been dealing with this issue ever since I bought my boat new one year ago. Long, long, long story, but I found Scarab wires a module to the non-switched side of the master switch so even though the master is off there is a milliamp draw to this module. I was working with Scarab tech but when I asked about this module the communications stopped. I would like to know the purpose of this black box module. I even asked Dennis at CanDoo for help. He was a great resource but didn't know what the black module was.

If you have a multi-meter you can check to see if you are getting a power draw between the positive battery post and hot wire to master switch. Positive wire has to be removed from the battery and the master switch off. Amp meter in between.

I normally disconnect the battery & use a battery tender on it during that period.
