Noticed this last week. I'm fairly sure they are supposed to be straight and probably happened at some point while leaning over the motor to do some work. My guess is that connection is braised so if it isn't leaking now it probably won't. Anyone else have theirs bent. Saw a couple on eBay used that had the bend.
