Picked up (5) $1 plastic totes at Menards the other day. Tossed all the "random crap" from around the boat in these little things.

All of the boat clutter is now much less annoying!

My inner OCD self is very excited!

Mesh bag has dock lines, and watertight box has registration, American Flag and electronics in it. They're also new additions in the last month, but nearly as exciting as the cheap plastic totes.

I always use Plano totes as well. Great way to keep everything organized.

It is a good way to keep organized. The advantage I appreciate most is keeping things dry when the boat gets really wet. Heavy downpours will soak inside compartments and everything in them. With the totes, you just wipe off the outside. Without them, everything has to get removed to dry and some things get ruined.

Nice. Great solution. I have a larger one with a rubber gasket. that is "mostly" airtight. If you have any left over dissecant bags or a little kitty litter in a paper bag to put inside it will keep things free of humidity. It may not be an issue for you, but in Houston our humidity is over 80% at least 80% of the time...
