So I’m considering where to install a pair of 1” tweeters in the bow. They will be get up to 100 RMS watts each. Here are pics of the spots I’m considering. One more is the area over the spot where the two cushions meet, my grab bar runs over that spot so I don’t know if it is viable. I usually have the filler cushions over the foot well in the pics.

What do you guys think and why? I don’t mind drilling some holes but not too many and I want to optimize the sound. 6AEA8302-F162-4BBE-86C5-CB0687F17C06.jpeg

Ideally you want them facing the listener, so I would not mount them on that surface behind the back rest cushions on the bow like you've shown next to the GPS puck. You have a crossover for these as well? I'd mount them someplace that aims them toward wherever someone typically sits in your bow. Otherwise you could use them in the cockpit to give your sound some detail. Honestly I'd probably put them in the cockpit area anyways because you have a windshield that blocks wind and allows you to hear the sound better when traveling down the water.

I took a closer look today. Here are the most likely locations for the new tweeters based on accessibility. I like the spot over the cushions beat but it’s also the tightest location, I would have to remove the seat cushions to install the tweeters properly. Next best would be on the upper step wall and last is in the cup holder area.45AAFD63-8915-45A0-A1B1-9A230225429B.jpeg
