I want to see how moving some ballast to the swim platform will effect my wake for surfing. can anyone post a pic on how they attach the bag?? thanks.

One more week and you will not have too....:p

jcyamaharider, will we need any ballast at all? if so at least tell us what to buy, I was planning on buy some bags this weekend,

bobbie, I have seen a few pictures and they were just secured with a strap from the rear cleat to center tow hook on the walk thru

Yes you will still need ballast.....I run a 750 on the seat 400 on each side of the engine compartments and a 550 under the surf side of the bow, but in the center would be good. Might have to supplement a little due to less people weight. I have another 800 in my ski locker and another 550 bag that I haven't had to use yet. Please take into account this is not a set in stone setup and each person is different and prefers different setups.

@Scottintexas keep in mind my 400's and 800 ski locker are auto fill so if you are just going to manual fill I would start with the 750 bag ( I choose a fly high and it sits well on the seat ) and maybe a couple of 400-540 bags to move around to find what works for you and your family.

@jcyamaharider, are you going to be sharing this information on here or only to those who will physically be at the event?

w00t!

Ummmmmm.......don't know yet....maybe????

people....focus....this is not a thread about the flippin' "secret" . my ballast bags will be sliding off the swim deck unless i get some advise (thanks @Scottintexas ) @sx210owner @jcyamaharider

When I tide my ballast bags on the swim deck , I would run a dock line from the cleat around the bag to a rear grab handle , hope that helps :)

Sorry I don't think I have any pics , I'll look

If you watch this vid , and look at the rear handle on the boat you will see all my rope craziness !!! Just ignore me on the board , I know I'm a dork !!!!

Any issues with stressing the grab handles?? @sx210owner

Btw in that vid I had 2 350's on the swim deck , and one 500 on the rear seat :) hope that helps

I use 4 tie down straps and hook them to the two stainless steel grab bars facing up that are just to the left and right of my engine cover. I criss cross them around a 750lb fly high sac. I use a towel on each side under the strap to prevent scuffing on the boat. Between 6 to 8 mins for fill time. Works great. Never thought to take a pic, but will do that if you need one.
