What is the recommendation for spacing and height of bunks on a boat lift for a 2004 Yamaha SX 230? Thanks
 
The general rule is to set them similar to your trailer and adjust from there. I have mine set witht he bow up slightly to allow it to drain to the stern if water were in the bilge or on the floor. Otherwise, it's fairly level.

Just be ready to get in the water and watch the hull the first time you lift it to be sure the hull does not come in contact with cross members. You can also take some padding and put on the cross members to be safe. I have an old keel guard on my cross member, as I had a bunk drop one time.
