Boat Name Letter Size

Need help figuring out the right letter size and width for the boat name. Someone suggested 3.5x20, which I'm thinking it maybe too small. I'm leaning towards 4x24. What do you guys think?

Where do you want to put the name? Swim platform step, I assume?

Measure the space (leaving enough white space around it - my opinion), then take the image file and your measurements to a local sign/printing shop and have them scale it to your maximum height and width, ensuring the proportions of the boat name remain true. FastSigns or similar company will print it on quality cut vinyl for you.

My lettering is 4.25" tall and 42" long. It fits above the grab handle and in between the cleanout hatch drains.

Thanks for the info. Purchased the decal with the dimensions 4x24 and it should arrive next week.
