Does anyone know if they make some type of Bimini top for the bow of a Yamaha sx195? We have a 2021 and have a baby with one on the way and want to be able to lay them up in the bow when anchored and provide shade for them to take naps. Trying to figure something out

Haven't seen any specific tops for the bow, but you may want to see if you can modify one of these:
also taylor made has this
good luck and let us know how it goes.

Find a three or four bow bimini you like and make sure the width matches the mounting location and it is pretty easy. I bought one the proper width but intentionally bought one that was to tall so I could cut it down to the height I wanted. I also drilled out all the rivets in the plastic hardware it came with and replaced it with stainless steel. It saved me about $120 that way but cost about an hour and half. Just like you I had a newborn needing more shade. To help create more shade go to harbor freight and buy a set of spring clamps and use a sarong clamped to the tower and wind screen and it works great to create more when they are sleeping on the rear bench.FFFBDE2C-039D-446D-8489-48BFDA28AEEB.jpeg546BEEBC-ED2D-466C-9F62-D5D1AEC6CC8B.jpeg0988FB74-EDF5-431C-A69A-FECF39A050DC.jpeg

I wouldn’t be able to bring myself to making any holes for mounts that’s the problem lol

Yeah, totally get that! I had the King bird bimini for a while and laid out the brackets numerous times. Watched tons of videos, then watched more. Then decided it wasn’t worth it. The amazing wife I have then reminded me of all the stuff I have built cars I have fixed and tons of other stuff and asked why I was scared to drill 8 little holes. I am happy with the results and glad I took the chance. To be honest the first hole I drilled I forgot to start drilling in reverse and took two small pieces out of the gel coat that can be seen from the bow area that I filled.

I was factory supplied with 2 table mounts (Aft Cockpit) and (Swim Platform), 1 round table, and 1 leg. I wanted a second table in the bow. After snooping around, I found a backer block there already for a table mount, so no shimming required. I rounded all the parts up from my dealer. 1 Leg Mount, 1 original style Leg (mitered/welded, they use solid curve bend now that I don't like), 1 Rectangle table (from the Sunesta model), drop in cup holders, table leg storage clamps, and proper mounting screws. 2 sizes of PVC were used to step down from the stainless leg inner diameter to the umbrella diameter. The choice of the larger table gave me the flexibility to use a larger table elsewhere, and have 2 tables going at once.

Looks like the area you mounted to in the bow is much more vertical than what is in the 2015 212x. Looks great! My wife would be jealous.

Since there was a backer block there, I'm guessing a table mount was in the plans for one of the models. When I ordered mine there wasn't an option for a table mount there.
