I'm building a 20 gallon freshwater shower from scratch but had a few questions. I want this to look factory, and can't find the oem Yamaha switch for the transom shower (or something thats close to it). Does anyone know something that would work? I'm also having trouble trying to figure out what a 1/2" npt fitting uses to attach to a flexible tube. When complete, I'll post a full write up.

Try an RV supply store, like Campers World or something... they use low power shower setups all over the place and use PEX fittings for most of it. They should have just about everything you need on the plumbing side.
On the switch side, I'd recommend something like this: http://www.amazon.com/HOT-SYSTEM-trade-Waterproof-Lights/dp/B00PRUR2KO
It's a standard sized switch and matches the dash switches on most Yamahas. Many companies make them at various prices, that's just the one I found quickly when searching. Round ones are easier to install because you can just drill instead of cut, but that's your call. To find round ones, just search for "Waterproof rocker switch" on Amazon.

If you enlarge this picture you can see the white shower head compartment on the starboard side of the swim deck. The grey Fusion remote is behind and below it. This is the only visible change for shower. The fill port is in the cleanout plug compartment. I also added a vent via a white thru hull fitting.

@Bruce, I am about to do this install. I was going to remove the rear stereo control and place/cut the hull to fit the shower head cover. Comments?? I was curious on the horizontal clearance, along with the vertical in that part of the hull. Cant figure out which shower head/plate would be the best. Looking at doing a split system. one to aid in clean up when only in salt(washdown hose) see other jetboater post, and as a shower on the stern. Will be using same plumbing, tank, pump, just different discharge areas/functions.

Did you have good luck with the flojet pump? Since you have been in the stbd aft part of the hull, which shower head/ cover would work best for clearance? what about replacement later?
