Built in tube pump

Awesome. Actually working on my air pump this week as well. Where did you put your pump? Right now I’m planning to put the pump in the compartment directly behind the captains chair. (But it’s not to late to change)

I’m putting my switch at the helm on one of those 4-switch modules that includes another usb charger and lighter adapter. I’m hoping it’s not too far away to be annoying. (Is too late to change this)

Mine is far back on port side rear storage. I space mounted it onto a pvc board so I could slide it up to replace if the pump ever went out since that location is so hard to get to. I used a relay hooked up to a simple switch to turn on the pump since it pulls like 35 amps and it’s hard to find a switch that can handle that amount of draw.

What are you guys using for a hose to the toy? I have all the adapters that came with the pump that I would like to retain the use of. I installed the wash down adapter like most others so one end of the hose will need a garden hose adapter.

I just used the hose that came with the pump and put a threaded fitting on the other end

Hmm, that hose is only about 2’ long. I don’t think that will work but maybe I can extend it. I’m going to take it with me to the store today and stare at the aisle of fittings until I get a vision. :)

Ok, I got it figured out. After inspecting the hose that came with my pump a little better, I just cut one end off of it. Got a barb to NPT thread adapter. Then a NPT to GHT adapter so it would accept a garden hose. Then cut about 6' off of an old garden hose I had laying around and added a new end to it. Then connected the garden hose length to my pump hose and presto, new longer hose maintaining the original little tab connectors or all of the various attachments.

Worked great on the boat today. Only hiccup was my garden hose was nice and warm in the sun, and so kinked while trying to fill. I had to have daughter hold the hose to keep it from kinking and hindering air flow. My output is next to the original anchor light outlet, so sticks straight up instead of being on a sidewall somewhere.

Pics of install to follow when I get time. :)
