Anyone have the metal the bolster flips up on when in the down position press into the underside of your legs? Might be my large behind but I have to sit on a boat cushion every time I’m out and not sitting on the bolster.

Thanks
Drew

Haven't had that problem, but have had the edge of the bolster pushing into by butt pretty bad. I learned 2 things:
1) By sitting all the way back against the back of the seat while the bolster is up, it was much more comfortable, and
2) I replaced the post with one that was adjustable--much better. Don't even need to use the bolster now.

But you say you have the issue when in the down position?

Yeah like those two white brackets that hold the bolster are usually in the back of my legs when sitting with it down. The sides of the seat base just don’t feel as firm as the port side seat so I can feel the metal. Might be my 250# and lineman ass that is the problem though.

Definitely want to add the adjustable pedestal what one did you go with?

It was:
Mainstay Power Rise Pedestal with Seat Mount Slide 13.8" to 19.5" 1250151-LBD1$91.77 USD
$91.77 USD

From Cascade Depot (online). Learned of it on another thread, but I understand from that thread they may be out of them now?

Hey--Downers Grove! I grew up in Clarendon Hills...

(just a little OT...)

I've noticed the same thing on my seat (only on the left side) this season. It seems like the foam is breaking down under the seat base - or the springs are - and that's causing the top of the hinge to stick up. I didn't have this problem on my 09 after 5 seasons. I'm going to take it into the dealer have them look at at the end of the season. I have YES, so might as well.
