The wife and I just spent some time on a buddy's new 242X series and we really like it and want a new boat. our 2014 AR240 has been well cared for, always garaged kept in the winter time and has been a great boat and will make another family very happy. I'm asking $40,000 OBO and can provide all receipts including oil analyst of each engines yearly oil change. Boat has 224.4 hrs on both engines. I'm willing to deliver the boat...road trip!

Here is a list of items the boat comes with:
new radial tires on boat trailer July 2017
thrust vector's
Ocean LED (blue) underwater swim platforms lights
interior LED multi color lights
magnum swim platform grill
Rockford Fosgate amps, tower speakers, sub woofer, and interior speakers. Satellite radio works.
both the white shipping cover and black trailer cover.
carpet in the boat has never been used, brand new
LED white running/anchor light atop of tower.
dual batteries - chargers for when boat is plugged in
tow valves and water strainers

Lol, thanks. I use a lot of the quick absorb mats when I change oil so I don't make a mess, and I regularly wipe the engine compartment down with a old rag after I was the inside of the boat.

Are those fuel filters on the side of the engines? Nice looking boat!

that last picture looks very familiar

Ya babo, where the picture of my boat?

No, those are island racing water strainers. Any small bugs or weeds will get caught in the strainer before it gets into the engine block. They allow only water to enter the engine. They are great for in shallow areas where you may suck up sand. Also the valves are for shutting water off to the block, incase you need to be towed in.

@DiverB can you do write up this mod with parts needs etc. this sounds like a great idea.

To recap if my boat is being towed I can shut off the valves here without flooding the engine. Correct ?

That is correct @Amar Nanduri

Island racing sells the water strainers and the shut off valves. I also have the water strainers and they are worth every penny; as is the shut offs to ensure there is no flooding into the engine if you need a tow or to run on one engine. The kit has you splice into the cooling hose before the Y where the cooling line and flush hose connect. http://www.islandracing.com/

Bump, really want to sell

I am interested, is it still available?

Yes still available. It's been winterized and shrink wrapped for the winter

whats your email address?

Beautiful boat, gives me ideas for future mods. Side note to an old thread...Is it possible the strainer will become clogged and restrict cooling water?
