The screws in the gas shock bracket have all worked loose and cannot be tightened. I’ve read where people have adjusted the ski locker gas shock to open it more. Can the same thing be done to the clean out hatch shock? If it can be done, should I use an epoxy plus screws to fasten the bracket back on?

I had a similar issue with the clean out plug hinges. I inserted multiple toothpicks into the holes then filled with 3m-5200. The screws bit and have been holding fine ever since.

Pics? If the screw were too long what would it go through, if that's even an option? If there is space on the other side, consider stainless T nuts in the size of your choice. They're available with or without the spikes.

Blind nuts are an option too.
