Last summer, sold my 2019 SX190 thinking the Jet Ski path would be more practical. I missed the boat so much after about 2-3 jet ski rides.. I felt bored after 20mins each time I went out.

So out with the jet ski last night and today I'm picking up a new 2024 AR190 in Sapphire Blue. Can't wait to see what the 1.9L has to offer. I had my sx190 for 5 yrs and loved the size but the bench seat of the AR and tower were always things I envied and this time, going that route.

The 19' platform is awesome, garage storage, easy to tow. Use regular gas in the 1.9L. Can do almost anything in watersports, reasonably priced and easy to maintain.. God it feels good to be coming back!
Looking forward to a super summer.

Best,
Marc

Welcome back!

Pics or it didn’t happen !! That motor looks fire can’t wait to put this in water

Congratulations! Is it my imagination or is the engine bay really clean and minimalist looking?

Awesome sauce. That colors looks great

A review comparing the two would be very interesting.
Will do once I get a few hours, after break in this AM, it topped out at 40mph (gps). I feel like that’s about what the 1.8 did in my 2019, maybe 37-38… so yes a few MPH gains, definitely a bit of a tone difference but not really any quieter. Looking forward to see how it does pulling tubes and skiers. Overall out of the gate, I’d say very very marginal differences. Not disappointed cause I’m fine with the 1.8 and expected much the same

Ok after 2-3 hours of runtime, I think the 1.9 is probably 10% or so quieter than a 1.8. Makes a bit of a difference. It does tow a lot better than the 1.8.IMG_4781_Original.jpeg
