Hey guys I’m thinking about renting a yearly slip with a lift but I’m concerned with how to cover it when I put it away. How do you guys that cover in a slip not have mold problems when covering it when everything is wet. Do you leave life jackets and stuff in boat? Anyone ever had stereo equipment stolen or anything else?

Yamaha cover is black so the boat gets extremely hot that evaporates the water there are vents built into the cover so it escapes.
But now I keep it high and dry on a rack inside a building and do not cover it anymore

We generally drape wet life jackets on the chairs and then cover the boat - usually bring the towels home to wash and/or dry but occasionally leave towels also draped over the chairs. Everything seems dry when we get back the next day unless unusually high humidity in the air. I generally wash the interior of the boat at the beginning of the weekend so I’m not covering a soaked boat.
