Crack in fiberglass, need suggestions

Doing a mid-season cleaning and waxing noticed a small crack on the front edge of the boat in the fiberglass.

Dealership considers it an unfortunate but normal stress crack that can occur and wouldn’t be covered under warranty.

Here are some pictures, what do you all say?

Unfortunate, but normal? I'd send that to Yamaha.

Contact Regional manager for yamaha sales in your area - dealer can get you the info - that looks like a production failure from when they installed the rub strip. no signs of outside impact in your photo so dont let them use that as an excuse.

That is 100% covered under warranty. Dealer not wanting to do it might worry me and you are going to lose the boat for a few weeks for repair.

It’ll definitely be an off season repair if covered.

At this point I’m being told to contact their phone number and file a complaint. The hotline number hung up on me about two minutes into the call, so not super enthusiastic.
