After I stopped laughing at that ridiculous hard sided Igloo cooler that came with the 2019 242x, I promptly jumped on amazon prime & procured 2 Pelican Elite Soft Coolers in 50 Quart size. I’m a very loyal Pelican Cooler consumer and own several. Yes, yes...I know...completely overpriced and completely unnecessary...but also completely awesome. They fit perfectly in the starboard under seat compartment and do not interfere with the ballast bag.

Sorry. I neglected to take photos last weekend of the coolers in the seat compartment, however, they fit perfectly in an "L" shaped formation. I just left them unzipped for ease of access and each cooler had 2 five pound Pelican Ice Blocks in them. I'll take photos next time out.

Nice! Thanks!

Do you put ice in these? Or start off with cold stuff then use the ice packs, typically.

My prior experience with soft coolers and ice is that it melts, then leaks everywhere. (Admittedly relatively cheap ones)

I'm not OP, but I use yeti soft coolers. Zero leakage.

I use two 5 pound Pelican Ice Blocks in each cooler (shown in pictures above). I do not use cubed ice. The ice blocks keep everything placed in the cooler chilled all day, even with the coolers unzipped for ease of access. I should point out that these Pelican Coolers are top of the line soft sided coolers and run $340 each. They don’t leak.

Im a cooler snob with you Mr Pelican lol. My problem is to get things to work as well as you I need to upgrade my boat for those nice hinged seats. :android:

Who made your decal on your boat?
