Hope this helps someone out there...
At about 45 hours and about 4-5 months of ownership my 215HO Starboard Engine started to shut down on random circumstances until it finally died in the middle of the local bay... No hour display, no starter cranking, nothing, dead as if it was not there... PORT engine was fine.
It was a long "limp mode" ride home...
Took the boat to MarineMax who after a few days told me everything was fine, according to them it was just a loose cable and they secured it. Took the boat to a lake and after a few days it died again, 2 MORE WEEKS at Marine Max and I was told the ECU cable had come loose (afterwards I realized this is impossible, it looks like a space shuttle connection), I took the boat home and on the first trip the engine was dead again.
After some troubleshooting on my part I found out that the circuit breaker for the Starboard ECU, was not providing power to the ECU (it was not tripped either), I pulled out the circuit breaker and it was toasted with rust (I spent 95% of my time on fresh water). I replaced the circuit breaker with a quality breaker and we are back in business, running solid for 4 months now and 20 hours later. I had another circuit breaker (accessory) fail the same way shortly after so decided to change them all for better reliability.
