Did some boat mods....

It is getting really close to the time of the year to splash the boat, so I am getting my boat mods done. Today I put my krypt 7.7 hlcd speakers on the tower with their bullet line cans. I also installed my wetsounds ws420sq equalizer. Now after much debate with myself I went this way because I didn't want to drop 1k on tower speakers and also just to try them out. WOW!!! am I glad I did. I know people that have these speakers on the tower for a number of years and they have lasted. These things are LOUD half way up I can't stand behind them anymore. I am running 180 rms watts to the speakers and that is what they call for. I think to add to the awesome sound is the 420 eq. Every single speaker sounds better now!!

Along with my upgrades I have new 0 gauge cable for power and ground to put in.

Still waiting on my polk mono block amp and my bluetooth controller for my ballast. Also waiting to install is my hydro turf for the interior and swim deck.

Forgot to mention that the knob on the right of the eq turns my system into a 4 zone system. I can control the bow speakers volume independent of the rear cabin speaker volume.

Yes it was crazy and we only played them for a few seconds because of the neighbors and I was blown away !

I was thinking of getting one of those fuse blocks too but I don't think I'll need it. For Perfect Pass I should be able to use power from the speedometer I'll be removing (GPS based). If I had plans to add more more electronics I would get one like yours.

I moved my batteries over to the starboard side for ballast reasons so I installed the post terminal blocks last night and put the mono block polk amp on the board. I still have some rearranging of the wires to do to make it look better but here is what I have done so far.

They are still holding their own. They sound even better with the 420 hooked to them!!
