When I ordered, they had this nice, beefy clamp that looked to be 4 bolt. When they arrive, they have a cheesy handcuff clamp and a set screw that bites into the tubing to keep it from spinning. The whole reason I bought them was because of the clamp. I looked back at amazon and Stryker's site and now the pictures are updated with the handcuff style clamp but we're the 4 bolt when I placed the order. None of the inserts in the new clamp fit the tubing. I had to wrap a neoprene strip around the tubing to put them on. I'll probably make my own inserts but for anyone looking at these, I'd pass.

@swatski I believe was looking at these. I didn't put the other one on so if someone wants to see better pictures, let me know.

This is why I always prefer to have the items in my hand standing in line at a store. I know exactly what I'm getting, even if it's a little more money.

What size tubing is your tower (they're designed for 2")?
I was going to get a set in black but my tower is 2 1/4", is the insert compressible so they will clamp and stay w/o digging in the set screw?
Here's the double priced alternative I was also looking at (silver only): https://samsonsports.com/shop/bolt-on-fishing-rod-holders/

The tubing measures 1.960 so they call it 2". The inserts measure 1.965. If the tubing was actually 2" they would fit but would still not be rock solid due to the narrow clamp. The next size down insert is 1.750. There's just not enough surface area with the narrow clamp to not spin if you pull on them at all. Even with the neoprene. I'm not putting the set screw into the tubing. Mostly just bummed I didn't get what I ordered.
