Guest, we are pleased to announce that Hydrophase Ridesteady is offering an extra $100 off for JETBOATERS.NET members on any Ridesteady for Yamaha Speed Control system purchased through March 7th, 2025. Ridesteady is a speed control system (“cruise control”) that uses GPS satellites or engine RPM to keep your boat at the set speed you choose. On twin engine boats, it will also automatically synchronize your engines.
I will check into these, I really like LED's, converted my entire house to them, a bit expensive, but the thought of the energy savings and lasting upwards of 20 years was appealing.
@Bruce , my LED failures were on outside bulbs as well. They were clearly stated that they were water resistant indoor/outdoor, and suitable for wet locations, just not underwater. The manufacturer stopped producing LED's following so many failures, but before they did, the changed packaging, lost sales, and discontinued production. Newer lights are MUCH better. The other interior lights I replaced were mainly due to the delay in coming on, or dimming (said they were dimmable) was such a short range from on to off and wouldn't dim past 50%. Most LED's won't dim well on an incandescent dimmer anyway. Todays bulbs are much better in that they aren't so finicky, and they are instant on...and way cheaper!
