Hi All, looking for some information on a dual battery set up. I have searched through the massive amount of threads but just wanted to confirm with my setup as this is my first boat.

I just looking to install a 2nd battery with the Blue Seas 9001E switch 1/2/Both/OFF. I don't feel the need to go the ACR route as I have an on board charger and don't generally run long enough for a full recharge anyhow so looking for peace of mind to run the stereo and not drain the starter battery. I will get the additional positive and negative cable, battery and battery tray and the switch.

Current set up is factory 2014 AR190 single battery hookup I believe.

Questions:
1. I've got a negative cable running from the current single ON/OFF on the output to the negative on the single battery with a Y split which I assume sends it to the console that runs to all the switches (it has a black covering with a blue line if helpful). On the dual setup would this still run to battery 1 and then run the negative bridge to the negative on battery 2?
2. In this setup there is no need to run another fuse for the 2nd battery, correct?
3. No other grounds, bus bars, etc. needed?
4. For the additional cables, is 2 AWG good since they are in close proximity or other size? 4 AWG?

It seems fairly basic which is why I feel I'm missing something. My quick, rudimentary drawing is attached. I just split the engine/console to make it easier but all the wires are existing except neg. to neg. from battery 1 to 2 and battery 2 positive to 2 on the switch. Appreciate the help as always.
