Hey everyone just bought a really nice 97 euroline cyclone sport jet boat was bringing it home and the engine hatch cover blew off landed on the road and before I could get to it about 15 cars and trucks ran over it and smashed it a million pieces can anyone know where I can find one it's fiberglass much help would be very much appreciated

Could you post pictures of the boat and what is left of the engine hatch cover? They would help us identify it.

@Minnesota Dave what a bummer. Sorry to hear about a tough first day with the boat. But glad that you decided to join us. Hopefully we can get you back in action. Hopefully you still have the pieces, maybe it's possible to re glass it if a replacement isn't available.

Does it look like this?

No do not have the hatch it was all broken up in small pieces and spread all over trucks kept running over it before I could get back to it. A very busy road here

Does anyone recognize the butt of that boat? I am wondering if any other brands used the same mold. I suspect that Euroline parts may be hard to come by.

I have looked all over the Internet and not come up with anything. They were made in Wisconsin

Looks like it would be possible for a fiberglass shop to fabricate a piece that would work.

I know this is an old post but I found this forum through a search of my own to find an engine cover for a 2000 Euroline Twister that I just picked up at an auction. I was wondering if anyone had run across one of these covers. I agree that searching for parts for this dang boat is hard!! But looking a the photos google has, it looks like possibly the covers were used on the twister model and the cyclone model...please correct me if I'm wrong and please help point me in the right direction...Thanks!!

Welcome @DWWilson. I can't give you any specific help but possibly a few tips you haven't tried. I'm sure you've searched the net far and wide to have ended up here. As jet boat and boating enthusiasts in general we try to help everybody. I would search the history of the company that made the Euroline Twister. It's possible they were bought by a company that is still in business. If so they still may have molds or plans for parts or may know of people that still have these boats. If you found someone that currently has one they may be willing to allow you to have a mold made of their engine cover. The other option, as mentioned earlier, is to see if a fiberglass fabrication shop can make one for you. There are some very talented glass people working on vintage Corvettes that may be able to take on the job or refer you to a fabrication shop or mold maker. Possibly @Glassman can chime in with some advice. Let us know how you make out. We'd love to see pics of your finished project.

@DWWilson. After doing a little research I came up with this information on Dynasty Boat Company. Dynasty, P.O. Box 310, Vinemont, AL; or call (256) 739-4182. I called the phone number and got a recording stating the # had been disconnected. The last year I could find for a boat produced by this company is a 2004. There were some old listings on Craigslist so the boats are still out there. You may want to put a "wanted to buy" listing on Craigslist to see if someone has a similar boat to yours, possibly non-running or one that they are parting out.

The euro line cyclone was my first boat. It had a 175hp Mercury sport jet and would out accelerate almost all pwcs on the market and all boats at the time. I'm pretty sure it shared the same engine and hatch as the twister which was 2 or three feet longer. As I recall it was harder to find a used twister than it was a cyclone. I picked mine up used in Los Angeles and ended up selling it to a guy in Australia. Trying to find someone that will let you use theirs as a model / mold sounds a lot more likely than finding one for sale. Good luck.

Thanks guys for your input! I think I will fashion a temporary one until I can either track one down to copy or maybe stumble across one in a boat graveyard...know of any? My neighbor is a master carpenter and he wants to build one out of marine plywood and cover it to match the seats, so that may be what we do for now. That is some interesting news about the twister, am I sitting on a little gold mine? HAHA!...I wish... Yes, it too has the 175 mercury and is 18ft...really looking forward to taking her for a cruise!!

I was thinking the same thing @DWWilson. The cover looked relatively flat with the exception of the hump in the middle. I thought marine plywood for the flat portion with a clear fiberglass dome for the hump in the middle. Keep us in the loop.

Howdy @DWWilson , if you can't find one then you are faced with building one. If it were me, I'd start with an appropriate size slab of foam and sculpt it to shape on the boat. Once you have it sized and shaped to your liking you sand it smooth and apply several coats of sandable primer - sanding between coats to achieve a smooth finish. You can either glass right over the foam, layer by layer until you achieve the proper thickness - then scoop out and discard the foam or you can create a mold and have the ability to produce a few of them (if there is a market for them it might help to pay your costs).

The foam I speak of can be found here:

Best of luck to you.
