2017 SX210 Engine Hatch Foam, has about a 1 foot area that hangs out the aft area.
Do you leave this folded in the engine compartment or when you open the engine hatch do you tuck it back toward the aft area kind of through the opening near the hinges.
Of course the foam is also coming loose, I have already seen other posts about that.

Thanks!

High strength 3M spray glue works wonders in those areas!

I don't think the part I am talking about actually gets attached to anything, I think it is supposed to be loose but not sure what you do with it.

I just added soundproofing (fairly heavy stuff to my boat). I used 3M Super 77 but it didn't hold. When it got really hot the glue came undone. I was able to get a hold of the 3M High Strength 90 instead. Tried that and it's holding really well ever since. So if you want to reglue something, I would recommend going straight to the 90. It's very sticky stuff, follow the directions and spray both surfaces. Let get tacky (min of 5 min waiting) and then apply good, equal pressure. Let cure.

What did you use for soundproofing? Are you satisfied with the results?

Thanks Luc.

I think I might have to remove the engine cover in order to reglue all this!
