Is anyone using a boat lift with the factory mooring cover? I'm wondering if I would be able to get to the ratchets to tighten it with the boat sitting in the water or on a lift.

Also does anyone back onto their lift? It would be awesome with the way the swim decks are laid out.

I usually leave my rackets just a little loose and put it on the boat from inside the boat, I have never had an issues since the cleats pretty much hold it in place.

I back my boat into the slip and then on the lift, bit I had to adjust the lift to allow for it to be backed in,

I chose a bow & cockpit cover, due to ours being stored on a lift.
I have ramps on both sides, but felt this was the easier choice.
Barbie agrees.
Good luck on however you choose.

I do!! I have a process for the whole cover on/off thing, but long story short, when taking the cover off i roll it back from the stern forward, then get to the front, take it off the cleats, roll that around then fold in half and drop into the ski locker. When putting back on of course I start with the front and roll all the way back. At the stern I leave the starboard ratchet as loose as possible, then secure that side of the stern, then I pull the rest around the back of the platform, till theres just enough room to stand, hop off onto the dock (port side), then i continue getting the cover under the lip of the platform, secure over the cleat and then buckle to the tie-down-strap-bolt-thing. Then i ratchet the port side one till it is almost tough to go any further, since the pooling pole aft doesn't go all that high, ensuring this cover is snug is most important! Will try to post pics too!
