Fender Adjusters and other interesting accessories

That type of adjustable fender hangers are nice. There are hangers out there that are in a strap so that you can hang them on just about anything -- those listed in the link only mount on rails or guy wires.

The fact that they mount to the rails is what I like. We always hang our fenders off the handrails, since it puts them in the right spot for our dock.

I use and very much like the Fender Tender II, http://www.overtons.com/modperl/pro...ooglepla&cvsfa=2587&cvsfe=2&cvsfhu=3334303134, you get 2 for $9.99. I mount them on the handrails or on the top of the window depending on the best place for the bumper.

3x on the Fender Tenders.

Problem I would have with the more permanent ones is that install spot is then where you need to locate the fender. True I could mount 3 on each side and it would probably work. But sometimes I get fussy and want the fender riiiiight HERE. Like on an irregular dock or when tying to another vessel. Call it personal preference.

So the FT fit my bill.

I like the Fender Tenders too. They seem to work anywhere...hand-rails, cleats, window-frames, etc. But I don't like their size. Wish they made a "mini" version.

I got these on eBay, $11.00 for a pair including shipping. They work awesome for me as I don't have hand rails, they go through the cleat and you can still use the cleat to tie off. I would think they would work good for rails also. They take about 10 seconds to put on or take off..

I tried to copy a pic, but could not do it, sorry

Here is a copy of the picture. The one downside to those is you can't clip them on the top edge of the side windows.

I just tie mine where I want them with a clove hitch.
